Primary and High School Tutoring Courses


From primary to high school tutoring (year 1 - year 12), Edu-Kingdom College offers all courses and can upskil students to achieve greater heights in their lives. We provides various courses not only to improve student’s level of education but also to let them prepare for various examinations such as NAPLAN (National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy) tests, Scholarship Tests (ACER type, EduTest Type), ALP(Accelerated Learning Program), SEALP (Select Entry Accelerated Learning Program), Selective Entry High Schools Tests, John Monash Science School Entrance Test and VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) examinations.


Regular Courses

Primary School Tutoring (year 1 ~ year 6)

(1) Minimum enrolment period: 10 weeks
(2) Teaching Subjects: English, Maths, General Ability
(3) Duration: One hour per subject
(4) Term Test: every 10th week
(5) ALC (Accelerated Learning Classes) are included for year 6 students
    -The purpose of theALC is to help year 6 students build a solid foundation for secondary schooling, and hence assist the child to continue in the right path during these important secondary years.
    -Teaching subjects in ALC: year 7 level of English, Maths and Science

Secondary School Courses (Year 7 ~ Year 10)

(1) Minimum enrolment period: 10 weeks
(2) Teaching Subjects: English, Maths, Science
(3) Duration: One hour per subject
(4) Term Test: every 10th week

VCE High School Classes (Year 11 and Year 12 - Unit 1&2 and/or Unit 3&4)

(1) Minimum enrolment period: 10 weeks
(2) Enrolment is accepted subject by subject
(3) Teaching subjects: English, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology
(4) Duration: One and half hour per subject


Trial Test Courses

Year 6 Scholarship / SEALP Test Preparation

(1) Minimum enrolment period: 10 weeks
(2) Trial Sessions: 3 Weeks trial session with payment available
(3) Period: 1 year (from March year 5 to March year 6)
(4) Duration: 3.5 hours per session
(5) Type of papers: ACER type and EduTest type
(6) Subjects: Humanities, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning, Creative Written Expression, Persuasive Written Expression
(7) Materials: Similar test papers, Edu Kingdom owned test books and Various worksheets
(8) Additional Material: FREE access to Edu Kingdom e-Learning Courses
(9) Marking: Computerised marking system for analytical test results

Year 8 Selective School Test Preparation

(1) Minimum enrolment period: 10 weeks
(2) Trial Sessions: 3 Weeks trial session with payment available
(3) Period: 1 year (from June year 7 to June year 8)
(4) Duration: 3.5 hours per session
(5) Target Schools: Melbourne High School, Mac Robertson Girls High School, Nossal High School and Suzanne Cory High School
(6) Type of Paper: EduTest Type

Year 9 John Monash Science School Test Preparation

(1) Minimum enrolment period: 10 weeks

(3) Period: 26 weeks (from November year 8 to June year 9)
(4) Duration: 3.5 hours per session
(5) Subjects: Mathematics, Science Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning, Scientific Written Expression
(6) Materials: Similar test papers and Various worksheets

Power Writing Courses

Writing is an important part of the school curriculum. It is therefore essential that in educating our students we expose them to, and encourage them to become skilled in using the many different forms of writing.

The Power Writing course comprises of comprehensive units, designed to provide opportunities for students to read, examine, plan and write a variety of text types. These include report, exposition, recount, explanation, description and narrative.
In this course students will learn:
    -to read and analyse various texts
    -to identify the features and format of a variety of text types
    -to write in different text types
    -to develop and extend comprehension
    -to develop and extend vocabulary
    -to use correct grammar and punctuation
    -to engage in comprehensive analysis of newspaper articles (secondary levels)

(1) Levels: From Level 2 to Level 10 (nine different levels)
(2) Minimum enrolment period: 10 weeks
(3) Duration: 1.5 hours per session
(4) Study Materials: Edu Kingdom workbooks, Textbook and Various worksheets to build up writing skills


FREE Helping Classes

Edu-Kingdom College is offering weekly helping classes for students who are having difficulties with their school and/or Edu Kingdom work.

The purpose of this HELPING CLASS is to explain the solutions & methods of problem solving more thoroughly to students who have not been able to follow it completely in class. The students can bring extra English or Mathematics questions to the tutorial class.
NB. Only offered to students who are CURRENTLY ENROLLED in Edu-Kingdom College.


Online e-Learning Course Material

The online e-Learning resources will assist students who are preparing for scholarship tests or selective schools entrance exams by providing additional valuable problems to complete and review at home. It is recommended that students download the questions in the PDF files and attempt them by themselves first, then check their answers with the online video solutions.
